Default Removing Decals...

Hey, i have a 2000 black Mustang with the "mustang" decal stripe under the door. I think my car would look nice without this decal so what would i use to remove it. Any special technique or liquids i should use. I dont want to damage the paint or leave any sticky residue behind. Any tips would be helpful. thanks

use a heat gun or hairdryer to heat up the sticker, then it should just peel off. you might hae to use something to get under the edge of it to start, but after that it should come right off. then you can clean the spot where it was with some goo gone to get the ret of the sticky residue off.

yea i used a hairdryer on mine for about 15 seconds and it began to eel off a little on its own. i then pulled it off the rest of the way and goo goned the goo off. it looks so much better without the stripe IMO

Yea i heated em up with a blowdryer and then they jsut peeled rite off. Then some WD40 took the residue right off without damaging the paint. came out nice. I think it looks alot better. Thanks guys

^ I had the same stripes, and I hated them!! Blech!!

I'm much happier with the way my stang looks now though.
