alright, so i have a new edge GT with scratches up the ying yang on my headlights from my headlight covers i used to have. My question is, how the crap do i get all the scratches off of them and make them look new again. i tried using 1500 and 2000 grit wet and dry sanding the crap outta them and then using plastic polish and it works for about 30 seconds and all the scratches come back. any ides of what else i can do??

...besides buy new headlights?

 

depending on how bad they are, you CAN go down to 320/400 grit...and then just build your way back up with 600 800 1200 1500 and then buffing them. i used 320 on mine they were so bad...they are now crystal clear

if you dont have a buffer you can buy a 20-30 dollar "powerball" buffer from wal mart that should work....and if you dont wanna risk it a body shop would do it for under 50 im guessing
