Best pads for the PC?
I purchased the OD polisher pack last summer and ran through my car and it looked great. Now that summer is coming up, I want to go through it again to bring my car back a bit. The only thing I didn't like was the pads sold at OD have the partially closed cells, which is great for holding product, but noticed it like to hold a lot of it in there and it tended to sling like mad when I was working on smaller details (spoiler etc). Then I came across the Kompressor line of pads by Lake Country, which ideologically seem like they would be great. Has anyone tried these and what have you thought? Or is all my problems with the CCS pads just user error?

The pads that I'm carrying now are actually smaller in size and work much better with the Porter Cable polisher. Last year I only carried the 6.5 inch pads. This year I'm carrying the 5.5 inch and 4 inch CCS pads. I highly recommend going with my new 4 inch pad kit to polish tight areas and spoilers.
Hmmm... then maybe I'll just have to give it another try and hopefully it'll go a little smoother now that I've been through it once before. That being said, I just need to figure out where to get my 6.5" pads now that Justin doesn't sell them anymore.
I honestly wouldn't even get any 6.5 inch pads with the PC anyore. The reason I went with the 5.5 is that they work so much better with the PC. They are lighter and about half as thick, so they spin faster and you can do a lot better correction. The 5.5 inch pads will also work with the 5inch backing plate that I've always carried.
