I am looking to paint my car in the next couple months. What kind of paint is everyone using now? I am looking for a nice red color. I have looked at the House of Kolor Kosmic red. Any advice as to what i should be looking for would be appreciated.

Any paint from House of Color is awesome! Base coat and clear coat...add lots of clear coats and make sure to wet sand and buff after. Dupont is great and will work for what you want and I think there is one called glasurit?

All of the above vary in price and IMO all of the above have their pluses....cost if an issue-I would not recommend House of color- just go with a dupont base/clear and your set!

prep of the panel and the primer used are just as important if not more..ask what type they use (primer)

 

i have heard good things about house of kolor too.. im looking at that now
