how to dry a car
well i always usta use the mr. clean autodry car wash, and it worked perfectly, and i was happy
with it
however, it was begining to become expensive havin to buy the special soap and a filter ever few
weeks, so i decided to start dryin my car the old way to save sum bills
i bought a "towel" called the ABSORBER, and it works like a charm!
i just wanted to say i was able to get my red paint to SHINE with the absorber,
and i highly recomend it
i have never been able to get my car this clean with the autodry carwash

don't laugh...but I use a leaf blower after I wash my car. The water beads just run right off the car and she is dry without even touching the paint and potentially scratching or fogging the paint.

its sorta like a towel/pad
im not sure wut its made out of, but i recomend it, and you get get one for like 8 bucks at a target or walmart or any auto section or store
Hehe, leaf blower, Then your neighbors will have confirmation, that guys a mustang nut!
I generally wash mine at work(goodyear store) and the 160+ psi air compressors do a hellouva job drying.
We have that sponge/towel thing here, we were going ot start detailing cars also but that got canned after ordering tons of Meguiers stuff. Anyway I dont like it, it absorbs the water sure, but doesnt actually dry the surface (for me) leaving spots.
I have tried a friends california squeegee, that works pretty good for getting 90% of the water off.
Im still looking for a foolproof/failsafe drying method.

i also saw my neighbor using a leaf blower and i was wondering what he was doing with that....but hey if it works then no complaints. I use the california blade, its liek a rubber blade....works good.
i have also used a leaf blower, the back-pack kind. also a good tip for drying off your car that i have read online that really works too is, instead of using a spray tip on the hose to adjust the spray, take that off and let the water just come out of the hose on to the car. this leaves less water droplets on the car making it easier to dry. really works tooo!!!!
