Default Super Glue On Paint

I took off my spoiler which came with my car and found out the idiot used some form of super glue along with 3M tape to keep it on the car. The 3M was taken off easily with adhesive remover but the glue is impossible to get off.

Any tips/tricks?

Here are the things that you will need.

1. Spray bottle
2. 1000 and 1500 grit sand paper
3. Polishing compound
4. Buffer

First, apply water to the area. Then, in a back and forth motion, use the 1000 grit sand paper. Only do that for a couple of minutes. You should start seeing results. Once the 1K grit sand paper gets rid of most of the glue, use the 1500 grit for half of the time.

Afterward, apply a polishing compound, buff for about 3 minutes or so, to get any scratches from the sand paper. Next, apply a finishing glaze of some kind, and once again buff for approx. 3 minutes.

You should have some nice results afterward. Just make sure with the 1000 grit sand paper not to use too much pressure, or you can damage the clear coat.

All of the products such as glaze, polishing compound, buffer, etc. Are sold by Juztang. PM Justin if you need anything, and check out www.obsessivedetail.com
