I dont want a product that can be used on everything. If it can be used on everything, I question how good of a product it is. I buy polish and nuba to put on my paint. I buy tire protectant to put on my tires. I buy Black Wow to put on my trim. Each product designed for a purpose. Thats just my 2 cents. I want the product designed for a specific purpose. There's alot of difference between clear coat and trim. There must be a ton of silicone in that product for it to be used on all those exterior parts.
Just be careful with some products. Some will stain trim. The good news is their are products out there designed to take that off as well (Wax blaster etc).

Good luck with the durability.

Klasse makes a paint cleaner and sealant. Its suppose to have some good durability.

Get some ObsessiveDetail Hypersealant and Wet Obsession. You'll be happy with that.

I've read alot of the threads here in detailing, and most (not all, but most) will tell you to contact Obsessive Detail for quality products. Off the shelf stuff won't hold up like you want it to. As for your top, RAGGtops seems to be the popular choice. Don't use anything with silicon in it on your top and you should be fine. There is a guy here named Juztang who can answer your questions, try to find some threads he's responded to.

It did an outstanding job on everything BUT the paint lol. I noticed swirl marks and some other stuff. I think I'm going to pick up an orbital buffer(PC2474), clay it, buff it and wax it. I heard Klasse makes some good stuff, anyone care to comment?
Have you got a chance to look at any of the products I carry? If not, they are all really easy to use, no residue, no staining trim, most can be used in the sun.

A Porter Cable is really worth the investment. You can take your paint to a new level.

Since you are a member here you get $10 off any of my PC kits and get 10% off of products and accessories that aren't already on sale. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions you might have, I can get you going in the right directions with products to fit your needs.
