Default New Turtle Wax ICE

Hello all,
I just wanted to get everyone's thoughts on this product if they used it since it has been improved, or even if they used the older stuff. I have a 2006 Wite Convertible with a black sailcloth top. In the near future(next year this time I should be finished) I plan on doing the GT500 conversion to the front and rear end, picking up a Trufiber Venom hood and getting my car repainted...same color more than likely. I mention this because once all of that is done it will be fresh and I know I can take care of it properly, clay it twice a year, etc...but right now I was looking for a product that would get me a nice high shine without putting in 6-12 hours worth of work. They also mention that it is safe on all types on exterior materials, so has anyone tried this stuff on a drop top? Or should I just order some RAGGtopp and 303 products?

Sorry, but the infomercial for this stuff has me thinking hard about picking it up. I was just about to get a clay bar kit and a powerball....I can wait if this stuff does a decent job.

Check out the vid too....

Did you check out the vid on the page I linked? Doesn't sound like it.....most waxes and car polishes you have to be very careful with(i.e. taping off different parts) but with this stuff u can use it on everything...check out the link.

yeah i saw the video, its nothing more than marketing fluff. My carnauba wax from Obsessive Detail doesn't stain trim, but I don't buy over the counter junk so that is probably why.

Also maybe the guys at turtle wax who made the video should learn how to apply wax.

Can you use it on all exterior pieces? I was looking for something that I could use all over the outside of the car...my drop top included.

I give up.... looks like I'm not going to get an answer to the question I asked. What I don't understand is if no one used the product or has anything constructive to say about it's use...why answer?

I have not tried Ice lately. I tried it about 2 years ago. Liked it but it seemed to wash off either after a good rain or the very next car wash.

I bit the bullet and picked up some today...along with the Interior stuff & some blue corral convertible top cleaner. The wax is 'ok'...not nearly as pleasing as the infomercial, but I will say this....my rocker panels and side mirrors have never looked better. It did an outstanding job on everything BUT the paint lol. I noticed swirl marks and some other stuff. I think I'm going to pick up an orbital buffer(PC2474), clay it, buff it and wax it. I heard Klasse makes some good stuff, anyone care to comment?
