Default Dried on silly string?

So somebody, some long time ago, decided to silly string my girlfriends Black Jetta. Well it never washed off well, and left not NASTY residue. It has been stuck of for awhile, and caked really good. I had her try a clay bar, and she said it worked to a point. There is still some stuff left on the paint. Anyone have any ideas what to use. I am looking mainly for OTC stuff, but any recommendations are welcome.

Thanks guys.

I would give Goo-Gone a try, mineral spirits/tar & bug remover. It might require you to soak a cloth and just press it on the area for a few moments to loosen it up some.

Okay thanks guys. Given we are 600 miles away anything requiring a buffer is going to be quite hard, but I will let her know

+1, this is what I would suggest. Other than that, maybe bug and tar remover.
