What should I use to clean my front bumper??

Clay bar or simple green diluted 3:1, sponge, then rinse, dry with a soft towel and wax the area. I would go simple green first then clay bar otherwise you'll destroy a clay bar on the bumper and probably still have some bugs left.

Don't use alcohol it will dry out any plastic it comes in contact with.

just remember a clay bar is useless unless you strip the wax on the vehicle before you use it...

Not true. The rubbing alcohol will flash off long before it can wick any moisture form the plastic. Plus, his plastic bumpers are covered in paint, and the alcohol will not attack the paint.

RE: Clay bars

Just make sure you get the right one, as there are different 'grit' levels. To my knowledge, the Meguiar's bar is relatively soft. Also, you will need to make sure the car is thoroughly washed, as it's pointless to waste time picking up wax off the car.
