Default Shamwow towels

This may sound like a dumb question but are shamwow towels okay to wax with? I mainly bought them for cleaning and waxing. But I have read and heard about how the towels are a hoax and waste of money and am affraid of waxing with them. Thanks.

I wouldn't use them to dry my car much less wax. Get some good micofiber towels.

agreed, don't know anything about the shamwow situation, but heard nothing should touch your car but microfiber if you are waxing.

Thanks.
The main part i was affraid of was scratching when i use it to wash and wax. I probably will just go out and buy some more towels aka microfiber.

I don't use them for anything, microfiber works much better plus is softer so I would think its easier on paint.

I wouldnt use the shamwow. They did a review of the shamwow and the zorbeez and the shamwow was the worse of the 2 as far as fluid pickup. But Id stick to microfiber towels for the paint.

Some people are quick to belittle things that they have little or no knowledge of in these forums.
Many products that are ridiculed in these forums are actually very good products.
I am confused as to if the Sham Wow and the Absorber are the same rubber based material. If they are, I would never use them to wax a car, I find it difficult to dry a car evenly with the absorber and its no way I would even consider using it with any kind of wax.
