Hard Water Spots on Stripes, Tire marks on ClearBra
Alright, I have no clue what to do. I have recently noticed hard water spots on both my windshield, paint, and on my 3M stripes and I have no clue how to get it off.
My greatest concern is the water spots on the 3M stripes because I don't know if I can use a buffer on it?
Also, I was driving down I70 and some moron kicked up a piece of an 18 wheeler tire and hit my front bumper. When I looked theres large black streaks where it hit. I tried scrubbing the stupid thing for over 30 minutes with different brushes towels and soaps and nothing worked. The worst part is the entire front of my car has clearbra on it, so again... can I use a buffer? Or will it damage the 3M clearbra?
Thanks

Use a clay bar to get the water spots off. Spray a product like Meguiars Quick Detailer or something like it and rub the clay bar over a 2X2 area that will take care of the water spots. I dont know about the clear bra i don"t see why it would hurt it, as far as the water spots go. I dont know about the tire mark? Is it gouged in or just a surface scuff? The clay bar might work for the tire mark??? Wash your car, dry it off, then hit it with the clay bar = water spots gone and any other tree sap or whatever else is on your car.

that's exactly why I didn't waste the $$$ getting a clearbra but got the bra instead. Perfect for protection on the highway.
But yes, try the claybar, or maybe rubbing compound to get the black stuff off.
