My mustang has awsum paint for a 95. Its laser red. I wash it dry it and then use mothers show shine. Works well. I would like to wax it and polish it.
I am a noob. Do you wax first then polish? What products are you guys useing?
Mothers? I see there is a clay bar?

Polish first then wax. Polish cuts through stuff in the paint, and removes swirl marks, ect. If you do that AFTER you wax, you're just removing the wax you just put on.

i just detailed my car. I washed it with mothers, dried it with microfiber towels, clayed it, polished it and used carnuba paste wax. I mostly used mothers products except the polish. it took my four and a half hours

It turned out amazing! it gave the car more depth and a "wet" look!
