Default Rain Spots

When it rains or after I wash my car it leaves dry spots every where. I tried to wipe down the car before it dries, but its never in time. In result I have spots all over the car thats been there for years. Can everyone give me some advice on removeing and perventing this from happening again.

clay bar or polishing compund followed by wax. clay bar is newer technology and works better IMO.

Sounds to me like this car needs a GOOD wax job - maybe two applications. Is it BLACK by chance?? My F150 is like this, I had to wax it twice this spring to take care of it. If it has a good coat of wax on it, then those water spots should wipe right off with some "spray & shine" product and a micrfiber towel.

wash your car in the shade, if you do it in the sun it will spot up in a couple of minutes. To get out the spots claybar it first, to get all the crap off the car(claybars only take dirt off, they dont polish.) Then after the car is clean polish it good, go around twice if you really want to make it shine. Then wax it to protect it.

Hi all, this might sound a bit like a dumb question, but I am new to actually wanting to take care of a car (recntly purchased an '05 V6 vert), but what is this "clay bar" that you are all referring to?
