Rain Spots
basiclaly what it says.. a little bar of clay, what you do is get a clay bar and clay bar spray, you spray the mist on your car, then rub the clay bar on it and it will "grab" when it no longer grabs, you mist it agian, and whipe off.

LOL [8D] Did you say flawless, a 2005, flawless???? Hardly. I've got some spots on my new S281 that are need of the clay bar treatment. And I'm pretty happy with my finish. I've read where some folks on here have had the hood, or roof, or trunk, or worse - the entire car repainted because of the terrible paint job.
I have a new '06 and have a few rain spots I'd like to get rid of as well as a couple of tiny sticky spots. Do I have to use the clay bar over the entire car or will it work for just those few area's I need to touch up?
You don't have to use the claybar over the entire car. I recommend doing the whole car because you are getting the contaminants out of the paint and it is worth it. I only clay maybe 3 times a year. You could just use a polish to get those water spots out.
