Default Need a good glass cleaner

Nope stoner's invisible glass isn't cutting it. I tried windex w/ammonia-d as well.

The problem is I used one of those "glass chalk temporary paint" markers on the car's glass last time at the drag strip.

It left a residue that absolutely REFUSES to come off the glass no matter how many times I spray it and scrub it down. This is really pissing me off.

Help!

Try a paste mixture of bon-ami and water. Be careful through because it will pull paint off. Use a microfiber or terry towel.

What is bon-ami? Never heard of it.

I'm about to get out some paint thinner or maybe pour some gasoline on it. lol
Stupid crap. Says it washes right off with water. My *** it does.

Razer blade should work to scrape the glass then windex!

http://www.glasschalk.com/

False advertising about "no residue is left behind". I used a pressure washer and it left behind residue from this stuff. Ridiculous. I've already e-maild bitching about this.

Not sure I want to stick a razer blade on a $450 windshield. That's kinda a last resort thing.

Do you think paint thinner or gasoline might work to remove this stuff? Would it cloud the glass up?

A razer blade is safe! Pretend you're removing a sticker, angle the blade to remove!

both of the above methods will be fine. the razor will scrape it off easily, just use some soap to lube it up with. or the bon ami is kinda like comet. its a cleaning powder. you can add water and make it into a paste and that should be abrasive enough to take the paint off.

If you have a clay bar that would work. And as for a glass cleaner I like adam's glass cleaner, it really is a great cleaner especially with the special MF towel, you'll get nice results
