Default Is it to soon to buff?

So I got myself a brand spankin new 2011 black v6 last friday (8/6) . With that said I was woken up this morning being told to go wash my car cause the neighbors pool builders got gunite, pretty much the same as cement, dust all over the cars . I immediately washed my car and when I was done I noticed that there was still some left, so I tried to take care of that with claybar. The claybar dosent seem to be getting rid of it all therefore I believe the only resolution is to have it professionally buffed. With that said is my cars paint to new to be buffing or can I go get that done? By the way, the company already said that they were going to pay for it.

Yeah, you can have it buffed out, especially if somebody else is paying for it. At body shops, brand new (less than 12 hours old, many times even fresher than that) paint jobs get buffed with compound and polish before the car is considered "done" and returned to the customer, so you'll be fine.

I hate to be negative on this but remember that 1 incredient of cement is sand. They start buffing & do remove the cement its going to scratch the hell out of the paint while they are attempting to remove it. I would make them pay to go to a body shop & if it does what I think it will do they should be held responsible for a repaint.

Your paint is cured don't worry. If the company offered to pay, take it to a reputable body shop and have them polish the car and fix the problems.
