Default Mcguiars Scratch X

bought the stuff to get out the swirls before i waxed. directions say to let dry then buff out. i waited 3-4 minutes then buffed with a microfiber towel. stuff was glued to my hood. couldn't buff it out. i call them and say i have a problem with scratch x, the guy says, "you didn't let it dry did you?" i said yeah cause the directions said to. he goes, "yeah we're working on that, don't let it dry, buff it out immediately." finally got it off with windex, last mcguiars product i buy!

I'm surprised! Meguire's makes EXCELLENT products. I never had any problems with them. I use thier Gold Class car wash...And thier leather cleaner.

I was just about to go get some for my next wax. I usaully just use the cleaner wax. Don't know if it cleanes or what, or just is a regular wax. I guess I'll think twice before I buy some scratch x.

don't get me wrong, i'm not saying everyone should stop using mcguiars stuff. i'm just saying when i buy a product and follow it's directions then call the company and they say i shouldn't have followed the directions...my hood looked like garbage, i was worried it wouldn't come off
