last winter the clear coat on my wheels started coming off and i had to drive it in the salt and snow. the salt began to corrode them and i never got around to trying it repair them last spring summer. would a mini air polisher and some sort of compound be the best bet?
NO! the clear coat is what protects the base coat and it is also what gives the color its shine. since there isn't any clear coat, you are not going to accomplish anything. get them re coated
