alright im sick of lookin at the stock antenna that is on my 96. i want another antenna . any suggestions on which i should go with. any pictures welcome

You can get shorty antennas from mustang tuning. I'm probably gonna go with a 14in antenna since it should line up with the roof. http://www.mustangtuning.com/exdr.html

Yeah, i got the black 8 inch antenna from mustang tunning, looks great, good reception too! Its solid and sturdy like the factory antenna only much shorter and hotter!

Interesting? For $0 I think I might cut mine too!

Did you re-apply the "ball" at the top or did you just smooth it off with some sand-paper or grinder? I figure I'll grind mine to a smooth/round finish then dab it with some black model paint.

my original plan was to reapply the ball, but I couldnt' get that sucker off the end of it. I did just what you said, sanded it smooth and sprayed some black paint on it. I needed paint at the tip where I cut it and also where I had it clamped in to hold it, but you can't even see that it was painted. I'm still thinking of buying a shorty one, but for now I got it the exact height I want and for free.

I think im gonna buy a 13in one off ebay. Does anyone have the Bullit antennas on black stangs, i wanna see what that looks like too.
