I have a blue '98. I am looking to get the windows tinted. Is $200 a reasonable price? I have no idea how much it would cost to be done. Will the front, rear, and sides all have different tint amounts? I know each state has their own laws. Do I want to get the darkest legal in my state of Florida? Besides improving cosmetics, I think they'll help block the sun on these humid, July days.

 

good quality tint is usually expensive...$200 sounds about right...i'd look up your states laws...i know in my state, 35% is the darkest you can have, but i always see people with limo tint and a bunch of my friends have them and don't have a note from a doctor saying it's needed...you should be good with 20%...cops really don't give two ***** unless you're driving like a jerk, then they add on the tint

 

Looks like Florida, by the site I use, has the following for maximums

Front: 28% (random?)
Back side and rear windows: 15%

 

you should be good with 20% in the front and 15% in the back and sides

 

I live in florida and have 15 all around, been pulled over and nothing was said about it.
