Default Armour all?

Does anyone armour all (or use and equivalent product) on the exterior plastic of the car? If so, how often do you reapply?

thanks

on the outside of the car I use Mothers Back-to-Black. tried armor-all on the outside once and I feel like it did more harm than good. The Mothers stuff is great though and it lasts a while. I usually reapply whenever I do a full wash and wax which is at least 4x a year

For exterior trim:
Meguiars Ultimate Protectant Dash and Trim Restorer
Poorboys Trim Restorer
I find that they both look good but that the Meguiars holds up better to rain and washing.
Most detailing forum posts shy away from AA.

I've always heard the same about people not using AA... I haven't used it since I tried other things, they are just so much better

I use Armor All on the plastic parts in the interior. As for the outside, I've always just put some tire shine foam on a rag and wiped them down. It looks great, but doesn't last very long. Great for a quick job or sprucing up at a show.

I think I'll have to try some of the above suggestions though!

Look into ultima tire and trim guard, or 303 aerospace protectant Much better stuff than armor all.

I've never had luck with AA on anything exterior.

Someone gave me two bottles of AA a while back and I've been very surprised at how well it does on the cowl, shaker and front spoiler on my Mach. It lasts through a couple of rainstorms and washes. I typically use mail order only products (303, Optimum, Leatherique, etc), but I've been impressed.

Adams SVRT works very well and is somewhat water resistant. I can drive through 2 or 3 days of straight rain before it starts to look less awesome.
