Default rock hits window

Not sure where to post this. I was driving behind a big rig on the highway yesterday and a rock hit my window. It didn't crack but left a divot. Can a repair be made? It's not a deep "chip" but more shallow and very noticeable.
thanks
Mike

Mine got chipped last year took it to the glass doctor the next day. They filled it with some resin and its been fine. It still looks bad though.

yes it can be repaired. Take it to a glass place and have them do it. Costs like $50.

BTW. If that ever happens again, get the truck number and call the trucking company, they are liable for that. I get a kick out of companies in the Chicago area who put a sign on their trucks that says they aren't responsible for this. They are.

Is the quarter inch by quarter inch worth the cost of a new windshield? I'd say so.

they do that **** in tx as well...I work in civil construction, and even if they place this sign on their trucks they ARE still responsible...that "disclaimer" holds no water in court, to which I've been, on both sides of this issue...
