So I am buying a muffler for sound? huh i never thought that. I thought I was buying it for the gains. Hmmmm... Quess your right ohsoquick02....mmmm nope you ain't. I am buying my exhaust system for the performance. Sound is an after thought. It just happens that it will sound bad ***. And I am not buying MAC or even Flowmaster. I am going with Magnaflows. Best gains, best performance, and just do happens a nice sound for good measure...</P>


I got Dan's back on this one.I sold Slowmasters, I will give you props on them sounding good on mustangs. But no where near the performance of many other systems.</P>

 

well you go get your setup of magnaflows. ill keep mine since it was free. most aftermarket mufflers flow decent. the otherhand how do they sound. ill give up a couple hp for a great sounding exhaust. if i have to buy another exhaust i might think of bassiani.

yea why not. but the only thing is i dont know how to listen to stuff on this computer. i only have dial up and it takes awhile to load. and this stupid thing is a Imac.

i have not heard magnaflow exhaust system. heard quite a few but not magnaflow.

out of the exhaust i have heard borla, dynomax, thrust, corsa, flowmaster, mac, vortex, warlok.
flowmaster was the best sounding that i have heard out of
the bunch.

 

Well I also went with sound and I recommend that if your doing street application....I love how my flowmasters sound, I dont care if there are better mufflers oout there that will give you a little more performance, I just think that Flowmaster is the signature of Mustangs! I got those with BBK Longtubes and Off-raod X-Pipe.</P>
