Default Painting the Engine bay

I have a '69 coupe and I'm pulling out my 302 today. I've always heard that the Eastwood company is the go-to source for engine bay paint. Finally ready to paint the area I got onto the website to buy the paint. After looking at the comments section of their website, it seems that most posters have stated this "Under Hood" paint chips easily and isn't worth the time and effort! Any thoughts on which company's paint products is best to use? Also the type of paint seems to be 50/50 on either: Flat matte or 10-20% gloss. Maybe that just comes down to personal preference.

Thanks, Joe

You might even check in the restoration section to see if anyone can help.
