New to the forums, and new to the world that is owning a 'stang. I know that i wana do things right so ive been trying to research this clay bar thing. Says things like you only need to do it twice a year. Need to have a clay lubercant, and to only do it in 18x18 inch sections. If this is true ill deffinately have at it. But i'd like a forum example of what some of you who use clay bars may do.
Thanks in advance. Nick

FRIST DONT WAX ANY THING IF YOU'RE GETTING SOMETHING REPAINT the new paint and wax don't mix and it will create problems for your body shop guy. If you have newly painted part you should not wax that part for one year. Because the paint takes a full year to fully dry out and wax will make it the paint become cloudy or not last as long as it should . the three steps you need to to do is compound(compound you will have to buff most of the time ) to get out any scratches then Polish to make the paint shine you can do this by hand the third is the wax or swirl remover if you are using a buffer but if want to get out some what deep scratches you may have to wet sand
