Washing your pads...

Default Washing your pads...

Junk Man said to wash our pads before they dried.... Okay, how do you wash them?

i spray mine down with my diluted IPA, massage in, then wash hot running water, adding in dawn periodically and working it into the pad, rinse until clear spin dry then air dry rest careful not to bag them as they will mildew etc

Okay... the other day I ran hot water into my sink. I then placed my pads into the water... and as you said, massaged them until I felt that most of the contaminants were removed. Then I put them onto my buffer and spun then dry at high speeds.

My pads though, are about done. I need new ones as the ones that I have are worn and old. I'm going to try those hexagon pads next because they seem to be flatter which allows more of the pad to make contact with the car.

Ya, those are them. Those are going to be my next pads. I'm not particularly happy with the 3D pads due to their design as I mentioned before.

Last night I finally got serious about cleaning my windows. I took a razor to them and removed most of the spots that wouldn't come off no matter what I did. So now my windows are nice and clean!
