Default Wax Residue on Plastic trim?

Hey guys, so I'm new here, and not sure if any one has posted this topic before. So I'm wonder what is the best way to remove the wax residue from black trim? I've heard peanut butter, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I myself have tried use rubbing alcohol and paper towels, it took some of it off, but not all. From your experiences what's the best way to remove it? Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem. Nothing seems to really get it all off.

I've used a pencil eraser to get wax off of the black plastic trim.

I heard simple green works, I haven't tried it myself though. I hate the plastic crap that they use on cars now it always looks like cheap crap. Little by little I am either removing it or painting it out.

Yeah I agree with you guys, all the streaks on the trim is driving me nuts lol. Right now I'm planning to do a detail in the spring time. Like a good wash, clay bar, polish, and wax. Got a few minor scratches around my the paint that I need to get rid of as well.

I'll say it again....Goo Gone. Get it at any place that sells hardware, and it works, I use it all the time for what you are talking about
