Default Removing vinyl paint issues!!!

I removed my vinyl stripe from the hood of my car and there are black stains in the paint now. Is this normal and how would I get these out of the paint. Thanks for any help.

if its the glue from the stripe go to a bodyshop materials supplier and tell them what you have or even better bring the car and show them. There are many solvents to safely remove it.

What color is your car???

This can be caused by the surface not being 100% clean before laying the stripes on, thus causing any trapped dirt to sit between the paint and vinyl. Over time it can mold, or contaminate the paint. Brighter/pastel colors (white, yellow, red, grabber orange, grabber blue) would show the discoloration/contamination alot more clearly than others colors.

Might want to try and claybar a small area to see if it will lift it. Iron-X may work too. If it's etched into the clearcoat, the area may need to be repainted
