1994 to 1998 Interior Restoration
I need some help with a possible interior restoration. I am interested in purchasing a 1997 Ford Mustang GT that appears, from a mechanical standpoint, to be in excellent condition. The clear coat also appears to be in good condition. The problem is the interior, the front seat's leather is ripped and the seat foam looks almost deflated. Also, the steering wheel has scuff marks all over it. I know from looking at many mustangs over the past few months that these are two common problems. (I still love these cars!)
Does anyone no how much it will cost to replace the steering wheel and the front seat. (The passenger seat and rear seats look fine to me). I want this car to be a "factory" car so any replacement must be a replica part and not an "upgrade."
Any input on cost and where to obtain such parts would be greatly appreciated. Also, I am trying to decide if I am better off spending a little more money on a car with a better interior so I don't have to spend the money on restoration. Any thoughts here would also be appreciated.
Thank you!

It could cost anywhere from a few $100 to a lot depending on what route you go. Ebay and craigslist are loaded with the items you mentioned. (Cheap) junk yards will also have these items. (More expensive) Retailers like CJs pony parts or late model restoraration will have new seat covers and foam, new steering wheel. (most expensive.) How much do you want to spend?
