Default Removing Cats

I was wondering....I am going to remove my cats and put on a set of headers. Could I just run straight pipe from the headers to the mufflers instead of using an x or h pipe? It seems like that would be real easy to do. Thanks.

Yep. lf you want a louder sound, you can just take the mufflers off too.

On my friends Civic we just unbolted the exhaust, slid off the cat, poked the charchol out and put it back on. Thats the legal lookin way. But on the other friends Civic we jus welded a full straight back metal pipe on. It sounds real cool and adds power, less restrictive.
