Default Scratch removal

What is your preferred method and product(s)? I'm looking to remove some new surface scratches. Thank you in advance!

If it's a solid color with no clear coat I've had good luck with Turtle Wax Color Back.

I don't think they make it anymore but you should be able to buy some on ebay.

There are a handful of other pastes for this, but I guess compounding wax as we know it has gone by the way.

They take a lot of arm-power, though (most power buffers will trade your scratches for swirls).
