Default Polish and wax help

Hi all i just recently polished/waxed my car with the miguires 3 step kit. it was ok but was not really impressed with the results. im a perfectionist when it comes to the apperance of my car. so i was wondering first, whats the best way to get the polish and wax off and second what polish and wax would u recommend i get that i could pick up at a local auto parts store.

Thanks, Brandon

What year is your car. If its an older model without a clearcoat, a high speed buffer will work the best. Just be careful you dont burn off the paint. Especially on the edges. Ive always used meguiars and had nothing but pure satisfaction. Not sure what your problem is. If your finish had been neglected for a while, then it will take alot of time to make it look good. Thats if your doing it by hand. Give us more info on your car and well be able to help you better.

I tried the new NXT product and didn't like the way it came out on my car. I used it on other cars and it came out very nice. Some products just look best on certain colors. The NXT just didn't seem to do it for Torch Red. I ended up using Klasse with a couple of coats of P21S carnuba over that. Came out awesome! Look at the pics in my Album: https://mustangforums.com/albumphoto.asp?albumid=206
