I actually used a high temperature grill paint in the past, and it held up very well. Theres a limited selection of color though. The Duplicolor 500 degree stuff should be fine. Try it out. If it doesn't work...What is the worst that can happen? You're out the 4 bucks for the can of paint?

I used a $5 can of high temp engine paint.

No way in hell would I spend money for those expensive kits.

I painted mine black......5 months ago? They still look awesome.

i have a caliper paint kit that has all you need, cleaner, tape, instructions, brush, paint, etc.

however, it says it is fool proof up to 500 degrees, but G2paint is up to 980?

why such a difference?

if 500 is enough, then why make 980?

I painted my calipers and fender wells this weekend. I used Krylon BBQ black (1200 f temp). Looks nice and clean. Total cost $8.00. Got the idea from this site. Search this site before you do anything and you'll find great ideas and suggestions.
