I have a 05' v6 4.0 with your c&l cai and xcal2 package from back in march or april of this year. Very impressive! However, what is all this talk of TMS being turned off... Is it already turned off with your tune? Will this really work... cut and pasted from another thread...

"ok heard a rumor on another forum on how to turn TMS off (WITHOUT a tuner!!!). this will ALSO turn TCS off too...

with car off...

turn car on, but don't start it. wait for seatbelt light to go off.

turn TCS off, then on, and repeat 8 times for a total of 9 times. TCS light will flash. turn it off, then on again and it will flash. this was disable TMS -AND- TCS since apparently TCS can't be on without the TMS. repeat to turn it back on. "

No workie.

Have asked my tuner to send down a file for the SCT that turns it off. Kind of sucks that it can;t simply be turned off by default and then turned back on via the button.

I've got an inquiry in to a small outfit that was supposedly making a module that would remember the position of your TCS switch when you turned off the car. I'll post up when I find out.
