Question Local header installer.

Does anyone know of a place to get headers installed on my 2011 Gt? I'm looking for a shop with experience so I can drive it there and drive home the same day. I live in St. Petersburg and a reasonable drive to a reputable shop is no problem. Thanks, Bill

Smile Really?

I am finding it really hard to believe that nobody on the West coast of Florida has had headers installed on a 2011+ Gt. Somebody somewhere has had this done.

You do realize it takes a good 1-2 hours for the manifolds to cool off, not to mention the time it's going to take to remove and install the new ones right? I'll let you know how long it takes when I do them on my own car... if you'd like. But I don't know of many people that would be willing to do a header install with a waiting customer.

Default Yeah, I found that out.

I found a place in Tampa but as I was told they won't touch the car until it is cool. I am going to drop off the car in a couple of weeks and leave it for 2 days. I have the BBK ceramic long tubes and mid-pipe. I had Kooks on my SRT Magnum and the sound made by long tubes is really awesome.
