I am wondering what to use next on my tie rods cast iron or steel parts inside my finder wells my springs are rusty and avery thing around the wheel hub. It i wire off the top coat of rust and coat what is best to use ?

the cast wheel hubs what coler where thay from the factoery i was wonting to use a engine enamel on them or would i need to rust treat them first to?
To I'm planing to use a apoxie primer who puts out a good epoxie primer I do plan to do it right But it will be a pice or a place at a time and dont wont to leave any bare matel any lenth of time.
Some one that has use with grate results let me know!
