17x 8 .. will these fit on my 1968 mustang with diskbrakeswap brakes on the front and upgraded 8" 5 lug rear end?

YES with 1" spacers all around.
if theyre 05+ then you need 2" in front and 1" at least in back.

im running them on my '65. they took 1" spacers all around but i believe its different for a 67-68. contact dodgestang and he should be able to help you out with spacer size. i got mine off e-bay...here. theyre a lot cheaper through those guys and i havnt had any problems with mine
i have 2" cnc aluminum ones ill sell to you but i need to sell my wheels first. i found then on ebay for like 75$ for a pair! super cheap imo. i kept finding them for like 150-200+$.
