64 or 5 with 260
Found one in the weeds and suprisingly not rusted out and better than 80% complete. Has 260 badges on fenders, popped the hood figuring i'd see a 289 transplant but suprisingly sure enough has a 260 under the hood.....and get this...it still has the generator on it too.
Red coupe with standard black interior and standard hubcap wheels. Crazy it doesn't have extreme floor rust but it doesn't. Even crazier, its been sitting outside for more than 2 or 3 years and the cowl isn't rusted out
Body dented to sh@t...I mean literally theres not a panel with less than 30" spacing between dents.
I dont need another pony but should I pick it up???? I think I can get it for about $500-$1000 if I do some pretty good talking. The old guy thats got it has all sorts of old cars all over the place and has been trying to get rid of some to make room for a garden, dude pulled it and a few other cars out of his garage/shed to clean it out and now cant get them back in.

Put it to you this way, if he wants $2000 or more I will pass unless 260's are something special. I've been looking online and see no indication of that. Also can someone post a serial/VIN range for 64.5 cars?
