Question Not another tire/wheel fit question?

Will 15x8 fit in the front and 16x8 fit in the rear of a stock coupe? I can get some American eagle wheels for $400 for the set from my buddies tire shop that's tankin. He has these and is giving me first crack! 205/60's (I think) would go on the front and he can get me 245/60's (I think) on the rear! Would this work (tires would be extra of course, but the wheels are a smokin deal).

Thanks for helpin the newbie out.

Love the site!

245/60 16x8s will very likely hit and rub in the rear. 245/50 16x8s on our 67 hit now and then and we've got more room then on your 65.

My '66 currently has 16x8 245/45/16 on all around.
..Whats the backspacing on the wheels?
