I was at a stop light with the car in gear and all of a sudden there was like a thumping noise and the clutch pedal went to the floor. Does it sound like the clutch or perhaps the linkage? I'm going to check it tomorrow and see what the linkge looks like... I'm going to probably change the clutch anyway for a heavy duty one. I was thinking about a zoom. does any one one any thing about them? what are you guys runnin?

 

The linkage is the first thing to look at. When we replaced the whole clutch linkage assembly, with new bushings, Z bar, etc. it gave it a whole new feel, but we was too late to save the clutch.[:@]
