I just received my carpet floor mats from NPD and they really don't fit very well. Both driver and passenger side mats are the same cut, and they don't follow the lines of the footwell very well. Does anyone have a set that fits nicely? Where did you get them? (for a 67) Thanks!

 

Yard sale for 15 bucks . Came out of a newer Mustang, because it has the hole that the new ones use to hold them in place. Got the Ford blue oval, AND the running horse.

 

I picked up a pair from NPD of the original style repro’s , they look and fit perfect!

You need to call them, and they will make it right. I've dealt with NPD numerous times, and if they're was a problem, they fixed it.

 

Disclaimer!!! I did not mean to imply that NPD was not standing behind their product. They have been very good, and were very willing to return or exchange the mats that I received. They told me that the carpeted sets that they have are not cut to fit the footwell, only the original "rubber" style are. I was just curious if anyone had found a "fitted" set of carpet mats.

 

I have the rubber floor mats with the running pony, and I got them from Texas Mustang and they fit my 65 perfectly. I prefer the rubber over the carpet mats because they don't trap sand and water.

 

Are the pans that much different betwween the 65-66/67-68 years??? It seems like I have plenty of foot room in my car.
