Default Got a blown head gasket

I had a blown head gasket, so I went to A&A Machine shop who ported, polished, cc the chambers, steel triple cut valve sets, stainless steel valves, new springs, dampners, keepers, head gaskets, 750 dual pump polished Holley, recurved distrubutor, and fine tuned on a dyno. Yippy-ki-yah the mach 1 ROCKS.

Hi Jeff
I have a 4R70W electronic trans with overdrive, and a Compushift computer with key pad that I came change shift patterns on the fly by quick shift, trans pressure or miles per hour from min to max. It also features dyno, data logs, if you change rear end, tire size, trans, you just add the new data and the computer does the formula for you. Too kool ayy. Your in Ohio you are pretty close ? This weekend Mount Clemens meet & Cruise on Saturday, All Ford & Mustang show at Greenmead Sunday, And next weekend Woodward Cruise with Mustang Alley on 9 Mile & Woodward ya going to any of these meets ?

I looked up that trans and it's really kool! Was that just a bolt-in deal or did you need to modify crossmembers, mounts, bellhousing, etc? I really dont want to change the console or get into a major project. I've been looking for an AOD for my Mach with an FMX.

I haven't been to any of those but it does sound interesting! Do you have a website for the Mount Clemens meet & Cruise on Saturday or the all Ford & Mustang show at Greenmead on Sunday? I'm going to Baltimore the weekend after that.

I did make it to MIS last Sat for the show. The cruise a few laps on the speedway after the show was a great rush! There were a lot of nice Mustangs there. BlueLady73 from this site was also there. Her car is up for the ride of the month, check it out!

With those tires you should jump off the line pretty quick! Have you had it to the track?

Yep, I'm afraid I have to miss the Woodward Dream Cruise 8/20 Saturday. It sounds pretty big. This is a planned vacation with the kids. Reservations have been made & tickets have been purchased. They just don't understand the interest in classic Mustangs!

Do you have more info on the Mount Clemens great car cruise 12:00 noon till 9:00 p.m. on 8/13 ? I may be able to get another 73 Mach there as well.

Do you know of anyone else from the forum going this Sat to Mt. Clemens? Are you going? I sure would like to check out that fancy tranny ya got there! I'm trying to get some ideas for my ride.

I tried to stir up some interest for the MIS show last Sat but didn't get any interest at all. Doing laps on the speedway was the highlight of the day!

I'll be there, I wouldn't miss this event. I do believe Clutch is going also & many other Mustangs. This a great fun event http://www.downtownmountclemens.com/Index.cfm
live music, bars and great cafes to sit outdoors and watch the cars We will be at the Hay Loft Bar & Grill North end of town on the left.
It is $5.00 to park there but it is a great spot to hang out at. There is plenty of free parking but you would have to get there early for them spots on the street. How to see you there I know you'll have a great time at this event.

Hey 1970Mach1,

It's looking like there will be T-storms most of this Fri & Sat. Not sure if I'll be there if it looks too bad out.

Is this a park wherever you can along Main St or is there a lot setup for the crusiers?

It does sound like a lot of fun.
