hey fellas just wanted to update you on the 64.5 i6 to 5.0 swap
the motor sounds incredible i will get you guys some vid soon...i went with the side exhaust and WOW...lovin it...we are building the front end this weekend with 1' drop springs, shelby drop sway bars, monte carlo bar, export brace, and an SSbrakes disc brake kit. i picked up my street/strip aod today but that wont go in until i can find a damn 9'.

on another note im headin down to pick up a 2000 gt today cuz i need a daily driver. its an auto GT with 48,000 on it and the thing is mint!, picked it up for 9,500...im not to crazy about the burgundy color though. it will be fun to throw a friend of mine into my 2000gt and watch me pull him in my 64.5...ill get vids of that too!!

 

Sounds exciting. I picked up an 02 GT 5 speed for my nephew. It is dark blue, and a really pretty car. It won't come close to staying up with my 03 Mach1, but it has all the power that 17 year old youngun needs. Do send some pics of your 64 as the restoration takes place. No need to wait until it is finished. I'm curious about your disk brake kit.
