Default Changing Speedometer Gear

I'm looking to change my speedometer gear for my 65 w/a C4 AT w/the cable on the drivers side. The gauge is reading 5 mph too fast. Can anyone give suggestions on what gear to use. According to the NPD catalog, there are different colors that have different teeth configurations. Also, some step by step instructions on changing this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help!

5 mph at what speed? 100 or 10 mph?
How many teeth does your gear have now?
You need to know these things before we can recommend a new one...
It is held in your tranny with a small screw plate and sealed with an o-ring, easy to check it out.

At 60 mph it is showing 65 (tested along a car w/ cruise on).

Don't know how many teeth it has now. I will have to find out.
