I bought a 82 lx and I hate the tail lights. I want the newer light assembly but I dont know what will work. I can only find parts for 83 and up. This is a real bummer. I also need a passenger door, a fender,and a trunk lid. Does anyone know? Any help would be great.

I have a trunk lid w/luggage rack off of a 1988 coupe.

The passanger door should be interchangable with any year.
I think the Fenders are the same up to 1990, 91-93 are different b/c the larger wheels.

 

to update the tail lights, you will need to remove and replace the tail lamp panel, not an easy job. As for the door and deck lid, they are basically the same from 1979-93, however the moulding that you want is 1979-84, and the parts inside the 79 door are unique. The 1979-90 fender is the same, except for the moulding again, and that moulding is 1979-84
