Wait, you're censoring the legendary OT forums? Its Off Topic, anything that doesn't fit under another category. You know the old insane asylum...a place to let loose and talk about anything. Damn I would understand if this happened in the Tech Forums, but its Off Topic for a reason. Don't venture in if you can't take it. I vote the mods put a disclaimer before you enter OT for the pussies who can't take it. And no this isn't directed at any one specific person.

P.S - And who the hell is Lord Ashram?

Hey guys,

Just wanted to throw my thoughts in here... it seems Off Topic has fallen apart, basically. People seem to confuse Off Topic with I Can Hijack Threads With Any Sort of Nonsense I Want To and Make Off Topic Almost Worthless. Off topic of course should be a place where threads not about mustangs can be started, but it has totally devolved into a place where people can just randomly screw up interesting threads that other people are involved in and spout off about whatever nonsense they don't have any real life friends to spout off to about. Is there any way the moderators would consider maintaining that off topic is indeed the place for threads not about Mustangs while still working towards the idea that within a thread you should try to be considerate and stay vaguely on topic and, if you want to discuss something of a different topic, that the appropriate step is to simply begin a new thread? I am just annoyed that very interesting threads are often reduced to nothing but inside jokes between keyboard warriors that results in people really feeling annoyed by their own posts being ruined by the "elite" few.

Thanks much.
since when was this changed to off topic. he got the old name right

I have been known to un-knowingly Hijack a thread....Sometimes it just happens...Not to be ugly...but if you come to a forum for advice on a real life changing situation....perhaps you should venture out of the house and meet some humans face to face. It seems to me OT is exactly that. There is nothing wrong with wit and humor...I come here for fun, to joke around and do some talking about tech matters.

News Flash:
Religion
Politics

Both hot topics....chances are....they are going to get crazy. Lighten up Ash...I am not trying to be rude but the grammar/spelling ****'s are bad enough without having a content censor on board.

My $.02

@ Andrew and Michael: My point isnt that off topic shouldnt be a place for off topic threads. If someone wants to start a thread called "Things to do in the poopar" then I am all for it, and will gladly contribute my two cents... although I dont know a ton of different things to do in the poopar I dont have a problem with the humor or any of that stuff; the only time I get pissed is when someone starts a legitimately interesting thread that I am curious to read and then some 15 year old who wants to have 2000 posts starts blasting away to up his post count. It's annoying.

@ Nightmare: Me.

@ Deeze:

@ Sand******... er, Qatar: 420.change on the dyno, figure about 15% loss through the drivetrain and really I am at around 483, so maybe I should change it. Torque was 425 and change, so I guess that is a bit short in that rounding. Now go get back in your v6 and **** off. BTW, you should check out some of the actual Mustang forums sometime, maybe you will learn something.

@ Madman: Yeah, I understand... honestly, I laugh along with most guys at most of the stuff that is posted, and I dont care at all about the humor... as I said tho, it is when people hijack a perfectly interesting, non-mustang thread and turn it into crap because they A) are 15 years old and B) are bored. Why the **** should the rest of us have to constantly put up with snotnosed keyboard warriors, you know?

@ Sally: Yes. I think the title "Off Topic" just means that "Any thread started here can be on any non-mustang topic," not "Any thread started here should be led off topic." Makes sense, I think. I mean, some hijacking of threads, fine, but lord...

Anyway, my two cents. To those of you who got it, cool, and to those of you who are "Ohhhh this SUXOR, BLAH BLAH!"... go complain to your boyfriends, cause I don't give a ****.

Do your homework on this one. I'm 15 and I don't have that many posts do I?? I might if OT posts counted...no one gets there count up in OT
