hahaha that would be pretty funny though wouldn't it. Of course... we could always publish our OWN forum software and start our own CONVERTIBLE MUSTANG CLUB. I can see it now... Convertible Mustang Club of America. I own my own server and have managed many phpbb web communities so if push came to shove we could just take our ball and go home. (for the record I'm not really serious but its not beyond the realm of possibility).

Eh, traffic is one thing, useful topics are another.

The 4cyl guy sactually have different motors and need a place to go... You guys all have your own engine specific questions.

And wouldn't it be more appropriate that someone with the same body style as you answer your question?

That is the main argument we have for wanting "our own sandbox!!!!!!"

Didn't Ford make 4 cylinder Fox verts? Now that would be an active forum...

let me ask you guys who want this section a question.

what exactly would you talk about, that would differ from any other section? the only things that i can think of are things like:

"what to clean the top with"
"my top is damaged, what should i do"
"my top is leaking, how do i find it"

every mechanical aspect of your cars are the same as the coupes of the same generation, and i cannot see how the few questions about top care and repair can warrant their own section...its not that we dont want to give you guys a section...the problem is that we do not think that it will be active, because there simply isnt enough stuff for you guys to talk about.

I didn't say that there were. Simply that we would like a section where people with our body style can answere questions.

We have pointed out multiple area's where they are different in the above section. And we have 4 different generation of mustangs that came in a drop top form. Can we have a short test run to see how it will run. If it is dead (don't think it will be this one) then I wouldn't have any problem gettin rid of it, but if it is a success then keep it.

ok I'm having a problem rolling down my side rear windows on my 2006 Convertible GT. I wonder if ANYONE in the regular 2005-07 tech form can help me?
OH wait they don't have side rear windows at all. Guess they would be of no help here!

Hmm While changing my rear struts and springs on my 2006 Convertible V6; I can't get the rear end to lower enough to remove the stock spring because it is hitting some bar.
Could someone in the regular 2005-07 tech help me? What do these bars do? Should I remove them? OH! What do you mean you don't have these bars our convertibles does.

I'm putting new floor pans in my 1967 convertible Mustang and these new floor pans I ordered don't seem to fit? Where are the extra bracing that I had to cut out.
What do you coupe and fastback guys and gals do about tying in those other supports? Huh What do you mean you don't have the extra braces?

Where can I get a aftermarket convertible top for my classic. (lol no answer for this one)

Help my motor stopped and my top is stuck half way I can't get it into the garage! Can someone help to lower my top either way? Possible answer from a forum; Huh! How did you peel open your roof?

Heck if this keeps going we will not need a for as I'll have asked and answered every possible question!

Admin there is an intrest in a convertible forum as 80+ replys in three days has to show for something!

ok casting our 2nd vote for a convertible section in this forum.

Thank you! 05SDI
