if you really want this to happen you'll have to give us a little more arguments than "i'm in" and "that would be cool" because we can't quite figure out what the objective of a drop top only section would be. i mean how many threads can you really make about putting the top up and putting it back down ?[sm=smiley5.gif] ...give us some reasons to work with so we can figure out if it's something the forum and its members would benefit from.

Okay, how about "it would be nice to have a forum where we're not the red-headed step-child"? Most Mustang forums are dominated by Stang owners that are devoted to going as fast as possible down the 1320 and nothing else. 'Vert owners are generally looked down upon by that crowd and ragged on for driving "a slow, heavy car". A convertible owner has special considerations regarding chassis stiffening and handling, body issues, the aforementioned top cleaning, top replacement, convertible-specific interior pieces and many other issues that someone driving a coupe, fastback or hatch has no knowledge of. I'm in the middle of an interior swap and I know that I could use some help with that.

As a plus, if you started a Convertible-specific forum, I believe you'd have the first one on a major Mustang/Ford website. You'd be trailblazers!

A vert forum is not only needed but it is well overdue. There are so many area of a Vert that differ greatly from a hatch or coupe as mentioned in the posts before that this would be a great tool. For instance, could a hatch owner explain to me how to remove all the trim around the top where it meets the body? Our rear windows move, or we hope, this gets in the way of things and causes new problems between replacing them, water leaks, or getting to things behind them like the trim that we need help in figuring out that a specific forum would be wonderful for answering. I am sure I am bias but I would be in there everyday either asking questions or giving my input of issues.

besides begging to the moderators, administrators, etc...I am clueless. By the way, if it comes to that...screw it!
