I own a 2000 mustang GT. 2 weeks ago my causin and I put some headers on it and ever since my car starts and right away it turns off and in order for me to keep it on i cant let go of the gas. Also if i run it for about 20min. itll barely stay on with a low idle at about 500rpm. Does anyone know what could possibly be wrong?Do i need a new idle?

 

Had a similar problem with my car, turned out to be a Idle air ctrl valve, new one from autozone cost me $50 put it on in about 3 mins, problem solved, give it a try hope this helps.
